New Farm will see a different type of dwelling on the site of the former Corinya Nursing Home. After purchasing the site at 216-281 Moray St for $6 million, PointCorp is launching Point Luxe New Farm – a development of 12 luxury townhouses.

The spacious three-storey townhouses range in size from 280sqm to 350 sqm and will each feature three bedrooms, a pool and high-end finishes. Set amongst landscaped gardens, they are predicted to sell for between $1.5 million and $1.8 million.

Point Luxe is the first of five PointCorp projects in New Farm, and represents a shifting preference for smaller, boutique-style projects for the owner-occupier market.

Estate agent Tony Williams said developments such as these are especially suited to people wanting to downsize out of the family home to a smaller, inner city property but maintain their lifestyle.
