When PointCorp purchased its Florence St site in Teneriffe, Newstead, it knew it needed to create a project that fit within the vibrant, dynamic atmosphere of the high-demand area.
Once a riverside industrial hub, the ongoing gentrification of Teneriffe has seen demand and property values jump in recent years.
PointCorp’s proposed nine-storey development The Teneriffe Project is designed to meet the needs of young professionals seeking a home close to, but not in the CBD – a demographic that is behind the new demand in Teneriffe.
Designed by Cottee Parker Architects, the building will feature a retail base and a Melbourne-style laneway lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, to suit the energetic village feel of the neighbourhood. The apartments are due to hit the market in late 2015.
